OUR HISTORY
1926
A foundation built from humble beginnings, Robert and Mary Murphy started R.M. Murphy Construction Company right in their very own backyard. Little did they know their family business would grow over the next three generations to include nearly 400 employees that now make up the MCC, Inc. family
1931
Robert and Mary bought the Outagamie Limestone Company in Black Creek, Wisconsin, and within a year their little backyard operation transformed into Black Creek Limestone Company
1946
What's a family without traditions? Just like his parents, Robert and Mary's eldest son Orville was also an entrepreneur. Along with his parents, he started Murphy Construction Company.
Robert and Orville also purchased the family's first redi-mix concrete plant in New London, Wisconsin.
1950
The Murphy's business adventures expanded into the asphalt paving market. If you've been around long enough, you might remember "Central Bituminous" or its later name "Central Paving".
1988
The six individual companies founded by the Murphy family came together under one roof into what is known today as MCC, Inc.
2014
MCC, Inc. introduced its the first natural gas Peterbilt day cab into our fleet, reducing our carbon footprint.
2016
MCC, Inc. established our partnership with the Northeast Wisconsin TRaNS (Transportation Alliance for New Solutions) Program, a partnership that supports entry-level candidates coming into the transportation and construction industry.
MCC, Inc. celebrates 90 years of business in the construction industry.
2022
MCC, Inc. became an Army PaYS Partner, making us a preferred employer with the U.S. Army.
MCC, Inc. was announced as a 2022 Gold Award winner for the Vet Ready Employer Initiative.
With locations throughout Northeast Wisconsin the third and fourth generation of Robert and Mary's family continue to proudly serve the aggregate, construction, and concrete industries.
